Some parking and paving improvements will be made in four areas of Downtown Perrysburg this summer:  

East Second Street between Louisiana Avenue and Elm Street: Some of the existing pavement and tree lawn will be removed to convert the parallel parking to perpendicular parking. This will create 17 additional parking spaces.  

Third and Elm Street: A curb island will be built to prevent vehicles from parking where they will block the view of cross traffic for vehicles on Third Street turning onto Elm Street. 

Third and Walnut Street: An existing stone area within the right-of-way will be removed so that perpendicular parking spaces and a curb island can be constructed. This will create additional parking spaces. 

Between Riverside and Hood Parks: The stone path between Water Street and the multi-use path at Riverside Park will be paved. 

Work is scheduled to begin mid-June. Traffic will be maintained, and all work will be weather permitting. Residents with questions can contact the Division of Engineering at 419-872-7880.
