Active Transportation Plan

March 1, 2024

The City of Perrysburg is developing an Active Transportation Plan that will outline how to make it easier for residents and visitors to walk, bike and roll in the City. The plan will identify existing issues and propose solutions to help walkers, bikers and other travelers have a safer and more comfortable traveling experience.

A public workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. at the Schaller Memorial Building located at 130 W. Indiana Ave. in Perrysburg to gather input. Visitors will have the opportunity to review the existing conditions analysis, provide input on active transportation priorities, and identify key destinations, barriers, and gaps for walking, biking, and rolling in the City.

Those who are not able to attend the in-person workshop can fill out this online survey to provide similar input.

The process for an Active Transportation Plan started in October 2023 and is expected to be complete at the end of July 2024. The City received a grant from ODOT that will cover 100% of the costs to complete the plan. Once completed, the plan will allow the City to apply for Safe Routes to School funding for projects that will make it easier to walk and bike to school.
